Điều tra tình hình dịch bệnh và phân lập, xác định một số đặc tính sinh vật học của vi khuẩn E. coli gây tiêu chảy ở lợn con dưới 2 tháng tuổi tại khu vực thành phố Cẩm Phả, tỉnh Quảng Ninh năm 2014-2015 cho thấy tỷ lệ lợn mắc tiêu chảy và chết khá cao, tương ứng là 17,37% và 10,22%. Các chủng E. coli phân lập được với tỷ lệ trung bình ở mẫu phân là 84,53% và phủ tạng là 82,22%
thuộc các serotype O149, O141, O139, O138, O111 và O8, trong đó serotype O149 chiếm tỷ lệ cao nhất (28,0%) và thấp nhất là O8 (8,0%). Độc lực của các chủng E. coli phân lập được trên chuột bạch rất mạnh, gây chết 100% chuột thí nghiệm trong vòng 18-48 giờ.The result of investigating epidemic situation, isolation and determination of some biological characteristics of E. coli bacteria causing diarrhea in the piglets under 2 months old in Cam Pha city, Quang Ninh province from 2014 to 2015 showed that the infection and mortality rate of the piglets was relatively high (17.37% and 10.22%, respectively). The rate of fecal and viscera samples from that the E. coli strains were isolated to be 84.53% and 82.22% respectively. The isolated E. coli strains belonged to serotypes O149, O141, O139, O138, O111 and O8, of which serotype O149 accounted for the highest rate (28.0%) and serotype O8 shared the lowest rate (8.0%). The virulence of E .coli strains was very strong, these bacteria strains killed 100% of the experimental albinic mouse within 18-48 hours.
