 The article discusses some solutions to developing the school counseling staff in Vietnam. Four solutions for developing the workforce in this task have been proposed 1) increasing the enrollment in educational psychology sciences
  2) communicating systematically about the needs for educational psychological counseling at schools
  3) establishing national policies to encourage the participation of private sectors in the development of the model of school counseling office
  4) proposing job code and proper salary to attract more people to the work of school counseling.
