Over the past three decades, many experimental studies and theoretical numerical simulations have been conducted to explore the progressive collapse due to the loss of bearing columns in civil buildings, especially reinforced concrete structures. To better understand the progressive collapse, this paper discussed experimental studies of reinforced concrete structures with the loss of bearing columns in the world and in Vietnam.Trong hon 3 thập kỷ vừa qua, nhiều nghiên cứu thực nghiệm và lý thuyết mô phỏng số về sự sụp đổ lũy tiến do mất cột chịu lực của công trình nhà dân dụng, đặc biệt là kết cấu bê tông cốt thép. Để hiểu rõ hơn về cơ chế sụp đổ lũy tiến, bài viết này bàn về các nghiên cứu thực nghiệm kết cấu bê tông cốt thép khi mất cột chịu lực trên thế giới và ở Việt Nam.
